This thick, concentrated wine offers complex notions of sandalwood and soapstone, savory in pleasant ways. Clove accents the warmth of strawberry compote laced in rhubarb.

2013 Miro Cellars Reserve Alegria Zinfandel Scores 90 Points in the May 2016 issue of the Wine Enthusiast Buying Guide
“Made from vines planted in 1890, this is a combination of mostly Zin, field-blended with 13% Alicante Bouschet and 7% Petite Sirah. Ripe in raspberry and blackberry, this also has sleek traces of vanilla and brown sugar. Soft and juicy on the palate, it ends in a dusting of cinnamon.”

“This limited production (300 cases) 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve comes from a lofty elevation of 2,200 feet. A dense ruby/purple color is followed by lots of black cherry and blackcurrant fruit notes intermixed with hints of white chocolate, earth and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied with sweet tannins and abundant character as well as craftsmanship, it should drink well for 10-15 years.”
