“This big bold wine is highlighted in raspberry, vanilla and smoky oak. Its texture is velvety smooth and rounded, while the flavors boast black licorice, black juicy fruit and a foundation of graham cracker crust.” —V.B.

2013 Miro Cellars Reserve Alegria Zinfandel Scores 90 Points in the May 2016 issue of the Wine Enthusiast Buying Guide
“Made from vines planted in 1890, this is a combination of mostly Zin, field-blended with 13% Alicante Bouschet and 7% Petite Sirah. Ripe in raspberry and blackberry, this also has sleek traces of vanilla and brown sugar. Soft and juicy on the palate, it ends in a dusting of cinnamon.” — V.B. May 2016

“The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Silverwood Vineyard comes from Pine Mountain, in this case a vineyard at a 2,200-foot elevation. The color is deep ruby/purple and the wine offers plenty of blackberry and cassis, a nice touch of oak and licorice. It is full-bodied, rich, concentrated and impressive. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.” – Robert M. Parker, Jr. (March, 2016)

This is beautifully opulent, lush, sexy and classic Zinfandel. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.” – Robert M. Parker, Jr. (March, 2016)

2013 Miro Cellars Petite Sirah Coyote Ridge Vineyard
“The 2013 Petite Sirah Coyote Ridge Vineyard from Dry Creek is highly extracted, dense purple slightly sinewy, without the suppleness one sees in the Zinfandel or Cabernet, but certainly loaded. I am sure that 20 years from now this wine will be performing a lot†better than it is out of bottle.” – Robert M. Parker, Jr. (March, 2016)

“This limited production (300 cases) 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve comes from a lofty elevation of 2,200 feet. A dense ruby/purple color is followed by lots of black cherry and blackcurrant fruit notes intermixed with hints of white chocolate, earth and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied with sweet tannins and abundant character as well as craftsmanship, it should drink well for 10-15 years.”
